Pôle Refit La Rochelle is a non-profit organization, under the 1901 French Law governing associations.

Since July 2013, Pôle Refit has had a full-time employee whose role is to both develop and facilitate the network.

Laurent Da Rold, President of Pôle Refit La Rochelle, Managing Director of Yacht Concept
Technical Director at Fountaine-Pajot shipyard from 1989 to 2004, Laurent created Yacht Concept in 2004. The Company is specialised in project management and engineering in the marine industry. Additionally, Laurent is involved in numerous interprofessional activities: French Marine Industries Federation’s Technical Committee, National Commission for Yacht Security (CNSNP), AFNOR and ISO Standardization Committees, ICNN’s Technical Committee (Institute for Certification and Standardization in Yachting).

Thierry Demier, Treasurer of Pôle Refit, Managing Director of TechniYachtsPinta Shipyard
Thierry was born in La Rochelle (his grand-parents were the founders of the bar which is now known as « Les Flots », near the La Chaîne Tower). After spending 20 years in the Paris area in various professional fields such as finance and IT, Thierry took over the shipyard in 2011.

Chris Atkinson, Managing Director of ACA Marine
English born Chris started out in the marine industry in the 1980’s, by notably working with Frenchman Alain Petit in pioneering one of the first mobile gelcoat planing machines for osmosis treatment.
Chris then set up his own company, ACA Marine. With nearly 100 paint projects under their belt, ACA Marine is now firmly established within the French fairing and painting market for luxury yachts.

Christophe Maury, Managing Director of the Chantier Naval des Minimes shipyard
Christophe took the helm of the Chantier Naval des Minimes in 2009 as a successor of Christian Marbach.
He then realised his experienced sailor’s dream: to work in the field!
With a training background in chemical engineering, and a major in quality, production and environment, Christophe leads a high performance yard, located in the heart of the Minimes harbour area.

Patrick Rieupeyrout

Patrick Rieupeyrout, Managing Director of Harken France
Former Managing Director of Barlow Marine Europe, Patrick is the Director of Harken France since 1987. He has gained 35 years of experience in the winch and deck hardware import and distribution for sailing boats and prestigious brands. Patrick and his team work to equip all types and sizes of sailing boats, from standard boats to the most prestigious racing boats: ORMA Trimarans, 60’ Imoca, mega multi-hulls or Class America, including private owned or charter superyachts. Patrick is also an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of La Rochelle and of a bank’s board. He has been the Vice President of the French boat Fair Grand Pavois for many years.

Maxime Legendre, Managing Director of Lecamus
Bernard has led the Lecamus Company for more than 30 years, offering a long time experience in the boiler making industry, ship repair, machining and plastic industry. This born entrepreneur is also the founder of the first polythene R.I.B. named « Resist ».

Didier Dupuis

Didier Dupuis, Directeur Plaisance et Grande Plaisance de POCHON
Didier has now been in place for 12 years in the marine electronic and electricity company Pochon. He spent his career in the marine industry, including an experience in prestigious companies such as Lewmar South Europe, CNB Yachts Builders and the Regatta Society of La Rochelle of which he was the Technical Director for five years. As a passionate sailor, Didier Dupuis also competed to four world championships and still takes part in various races as a helmsman or as a crew member, either on racer or ocean mono- and multihulls.
