QUEEN MARY: THE PROJECT IS MAKING PROGRESS
With her chimneys dismantled, to enable sailing under the London bridges, the steamer left Victoria Quay early November for Tilbury. There, she will do a technical call before crossing over to La Rochelle, as soon as the weather allows for safe towing. QUEEN MARY is expected in La Rochelle before the end of the year. Refit work will then start, in the dry docks where the hull will be checked and secured. Different members of Pole Refit La Rochelle will be working on the project, such as Yacht Concept and Atlantic Refit Center.
